CARA has a highly visible year-long project to partner with our global healthcare products client to assist with the design, deployment, and integration of a new Global Business Unit (GBU) across its existing (7) GBUs and various regions. CARA seeks an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Strategist to work directly with the President of the new GBU, as well as cross functionally with existing GBU leaders/regions to design, develop, and integrate the new GBU and its operating model to deliver value across the enterprise.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Operating Model Design support (Align Op Model to strategic priorities and responsibilities)
  • Integration support of new GBU Operating Model into existing regional structure
  • Gap assessment of current and future state (heatmap and priorities)
  • Roadmap – tied to achieve savings mandate
  • Create and execute Change and Comms Strategy


You will report into and provide support for:

  • Reports into Senior Transformation Leader
  • Supports Sr. Executive Leadership
  • Plays an advisory role with additional responsibility to design and develop aspects of the operating model


As part of the qualification process, you will articulate and share direct experience in:

  • Organization design, organizational effectiveness, and organizational change management
  • Leading global large-scale transformation
  • Designing and implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs)
  • OCM Strategy and planning
  • Leadership alignment

    Your expertise:

    • Consultative approach
    • Advisory capabilities based upon demonstrated experience in Fortune level environments.
    • Problem solving capabilities to dig and roll up sleeves to solve challenging/complex problems
    • Understand the savings mandate and ability to design and implement a solution to achieve it
    • Ability to align with change resistant global regions and varying maturity levels
    • Experience working within a complex, matrixed environment
    • Ability to work through change fatigue/saturation due to inflight integration and multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously
    • Ability to foster and create leadership alignment in an environment with new leaders joining or existing leaders moving to new roles within the organization
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
