CARA’s large global manufacturing client is undergoing an SAP Fiori S4 HANA implementation and seeks the support of two contract Instructional Designers to assist with the development of user training. Our client uses WalkMe as the primary vehicle.

As an instructional design consultant, you will:

  • Find suitable test scripts (i.e., SAP S/4 HANA screen shots that lead the user from field to field to perform a given transaction) which had been generated either by SMEs or from the UAT.
    • If a script does not exist for a transaction, the consultant will go into SAP and create a recording.
  • Handoff the scripts to offshore the WalkMe COE (which has minimal, if any, SAP experience) and guide and direct them as they create the WalkMe overlays and provide SAP support.

The client anticipates 40 hours per week to the end of the year. The consultant will need to work global hours as needed.

Qualifications:

Functional skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori.
  • Experience with the end to end business processes in any if the following modules Order To Cash (OTC), Procure To Pay (PTP) and Plan to Fulfill (PTF).
  • Knowledge of WalkMe is a bonus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design methodology.
  • Experience with content development, work instructions, and simulations.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Recruiter interview
  • Technical (practitioner/peer) interview with review of work samples (screen sharing of work samples to include findings and recommendations report, design documents, instructional content such as participant/instructor guides or storyboards)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of external consulting experience
  • At least 5 years of Instructional Design experience
  • Experience with designing and developing blended learning solutions for SAP implementations. Prefer S4/HANA experience.
  • Experience with WalkMe is a plus.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Location/Duration

Remote/40 hours per week to the end of the year, ability to work global hours as needed
